CNY Traditional Kuih XL Plastic Ang Ku Kueh Mold 1510B
This dense hard polycarbonate mould can be used for glutinous rice flour cake or other oriental pastries.
'Ang ku kueh' is Hokkien for red tortoise cakes (glutinous rice cakes with sweet fillings). Angku is most commonly filled with mung bean or peanut fillings and moulded into the shape of a tortoise to signify longevity. Red color = luck. Chinese often give these red delights to relatives / friends to celebrate weddings, birthdays, or a newborn baby's full moon (first month) celebration.
Each mould comes with two patterns (front side is Angku, opposite side is peach)
